Greetings Beach Middle School Robotics families, this is your “Week in Robotics Update.”

Message From the Coaches:

I am so so proud of our amazing and resilient engineers.  The first meet of the season went so well!  Our engineers were gracious and kind, and also did incredible robot play.

This week we will use those experiences to refine our robot plans and code.

We are giving the individual coaches the night off, they will discuss with the engineers Monday.

    • 6-8, Programmer Only Night (optional)

  • 10/26 - Saturday

    • 10-2 pm, Team Meeting (All Students)

    • Noon - Student & Family potluck, come see the robot progress

  • 10/31 - Thursday

    • Trick-or-treating out front of the Robotics Center, hosted by the High School Team 1502.  All are welcomed to visit and help out.

Competition Schedule

The competition schedule is finalized.  We have applied for a Qualifier (all day competition) and will hear back later in the week.  All four teams will head to Bedford on 11/16.  Also, our meet on 11/13 has moved to Northwest High School in Jackson.

Parent Paperwork

Each parent needs to create an account on FIRSTInspires to e-sign consents and releases for each student.  They use a funny term “apply to a team” but it is just verbage.  Everyone is accepted.  Here are the express links for each team:
