This week ahead is a lot of planning and prototypes and the start of the chassis build. We will also talk to the Hungarian FIRST Global Team.They will show off their robot that will compete in the FIRST Global Event in Athens Greece in late September.

Great job Saturday! Everyone did a great job brainstorming and strategizing. Monday we plan to nail down our strategy. Wednesday we will start building the chassis and design process. I can’t wait to hear everyone's great ideas!

Great job thinking and brainstorming around the game. If you can 3D Print game elements, please do. Bring your iPads with the Game manual (read) on them for Monday where we will be thinking about our scoring priorities.

Hey Surge, Congrats on surviving your first Kick off. This wee k come prepared with a charged iPad (game manual downloaded and read). On Monday we’re first doing priorities and figuring out how we want to play this game. We will also be talking about mechanisms and maybe even do some prototypes. Wednesdays and Saturday are build/programming days.

The Gremlins are off to a great start! You all did a great job considering the available points and establishing your initial robot goals. We'd like each of you to think about ways to control and move the samples. Diagrams and measurements for the samples can be found on page 53 of the game manual.
Please bring your ideas, drawings, models etc. and your ipads on Monday!
We plan to begin our chassis build and to discuss both game element manipulation and a climber mechanism this coming week.
