Greetings Beach Middle School Robotics families, this is your “Week in Robotics Update.”
Message From the Coaches:
Happy first week of School Beach Middle School Robotics Families! Exciting times, doubly so because it means the official start of the Robotics Season! Please review the dates and times below and we’ll see you at the Robotics Information Meeting this Wednesday at 7pm.
Moving forward, we will be emailing This Week in BMS Robotics as well as posting at www.chelsearobotics.org (minus contact information). The posts will be found under the FTC 6-8 menu.
Assistant Coach Steve
Coaches & Mentors Needed!
We have more students than ever registered for this fall, necessitating the addition of a fourth team. Let me introduce the Chelsea Surge, # 26293! The Suge will be joining Chelsea Crash, Glitch and Gremlins this fall.
We are in serious need of new Coaches and Mentors to help support our teams. In particular we are looking for Coaches for the Chelsea Glitch and Surge. Coaches are expected to work with another Coach and be present on most Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Mentors support the team broadly by providing support building the robot, documentation, supervising activities and feeding the students. If interested, please complete this form:
https://www.chelsearobotics.org/registration/ftc-mentor
All volunteers will work alongside veterans and be provided all the training necessary. No experience needed to help out in any of these roles other than a desire to help our students grow and have an amazing experience.
