FIRST Robotics Challenge is a year long competitive robotics club at Chelsea High School. Students in grades 9-12 must comply with strict rules and limited resources to build and program robots to perform challenging tasks against a field of competitors in just six weeks! Participation at this level also helps to develop real world skills as these students are required to do fundraising, business plan development, branding, and engaging in community outreach activities.

Meeting Times:

Fall: Meets Thursday nights 6-9 in the Fall, additional days and times TBD for special projects and community engagement events.

Winter/Spring: Meets Tuesday/Thursdays 6-9, Saturdays 10-4, additional days and times TBD for special projects, additional build, competitions and community engagement events.

Jared’s Fund:

It’s the belief of Chelsea Robotics that “Robotics is for Everyone” and to help make that possible we have the Jared’s Fund. Established in honor of Jared Franklin, a beloved former member of the High School FRC Team, the fund is available to any family who needs assistance and will pay the full registration cost for a student. We also ask families who can to please make a donation to the Jared’s Fund to help maintain this wonderful resource. Jared's Fund contribution can be found on the registration page.
